Google’s Gemini AI has just received a major productivity boost. A new feature in the Gemini Canvas workspace can now automatically convert any document or report into a complete, professionally designed Google Slides presentation.
This tool is designed to save users countless hours of manual work. The AI analyzes your text, whether it’s a long paper or a simple outline, and builds a structured slide deck with titles, section breaks, and relevant visuals.
This update marks a significant expansion of Gemini’s role in Google’s ecosystem. It’s no longer just an assistant for writing; it’s now a powerful partner for visual design and content transformation, handling tasks that span across different apps.
The process is designed for flexibility. Once the AI generates the initial draft, the presentation can be exported directly to Google Slides, where users can make any final edits, add their own flair, or collaborate with team members.
This new feature is currently rolling out globally to all Google users, including personal accounts and Workspace customers. It appears to be reaching Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers first, with a wider release expected soon.
